A Rotary Intercountry Committee (ICC) is a relationship between two or more Rotary districts or countries working together to increase fellowship and promote peace, friendship, and international understanding across borders.
Rotary ICCs may represent either national relationships (ICC National Sections) or sub-national relationships between two or more countries.
The core mission of ICCs is to strengthen fellowship and cultural exchange among members, clubs, and districts from different nations. Their activities embody Rotary’s Fourth Avenue of Service: international understanding, goodwill, and peace.
The paired sections maintain close communication, exchange information about Rotary events, and share regional publications. They collaborate and leverage their bilateral networks of Rotarians to help clubs implement effective humanitarian projects

Although the scope of activities conducted by ICCs reflects that of Rotarians and Rotary International, the work of ICCs particularly emphasizes the international character of Rotary:
form a network of virtual embassies worldwide
offer a natural forum for dialogue between cultures
provide concrete assistance to communities
ICCs are effectively fulfilling one of the greatest roles that an international nongovernmental organization can play, by setting aside national patriotism and acting as ambassadors of peace.

A strong public image promotes trust and encourages people to engage with us. We can help build our public image by sharing stories that show us as people of action and inspire others to get involved.
Promoting Rotary to the general public can be as simple as wearing your Rotary pin or as elaborate as organizing an integrated marketing campaign. By increasing the public’s understanding of Rotary, we’re strengthening our ability to make an impact in communities around the world.
